Trust Security was honored to be selected to provide security services for the American Bankers Association 2015 Government Relations Summit. The American Bankers Association (ABA) is recognized as the voice of the banking industry in the United States. The ABA’s membership includes banks ranging from national chains to local community banks. The ABA ensures that the interests of banks large and small are taken in consideration by policy makers. The summit provided an opportunity for more than a thousand bankers to gather and speak with one voice to elected officials and regulators. Trust Security was tasked with providing security services before, during and after the summit. The summit took place at the Marriott Marquis in Washington DC.
Trust Security was selected due to its experience providing event security including its experience working at the specific location where the summit was held. The Trust Security security director of account management worked with the members of the ABA team identifying the specific needs for the event. The Trust Security management team then selected the guards for that the combination of skills, training, certifications and temperament that made them the right fit for the assignment. On the first date of service a security supervisor was present along with the assigned security officers to meet with the ABA conference managers and ensure that the team was in place and ready to serve. While on duty officers used radio communications to coordinate their activities with the hotel security staff. The security duties included access control, perimeter patrols and general event security.
